Customs
& Excise Sports Club
Annual Travel Insurance
In
Partnership with the Customs & Excise Sports Club,
Tysers have designed an annual travel insurance policy
specifically for members of the club.
If
you are one of the growing number of people who take
UK breaks as well as one or more holiday(s) abroad each
year, short term travel insurance could be inadequate
as well as expensive! You need to be properly protected
just as much for a weekend break in the Cotswolds or
a day trip to France as you do for three weeks in Florida.
There
is no limit to the number of trips you make each year
provided each trip does not last longer than 60 days.

Points to consider when buying
cover
 |
You
must tell Tysers, UK Division Ltd if you know about anything
which may affect the decision to accept your insurance
(for example, dangerous activities or a health condition).
If you are not sure whether to tell Tysers, UK Division Ltd
or not, tell them anyway. |
 |
You
should keep a record (including copies of letters)
of all information supplied to Tysers, UK Division Ltd for
the purpose of taking out this insurance. |
Claims
are always dealt with as quickly and as efficiently
as possible. Here are a few tips to ensure your claim
is processed with the minimum of fuss:
 |
If
you are a victim of theft, obtain a police report
with 24 hours of the incident.
All certificate holders are asked to take due care
and attention of all possessions covered under this
policy. Leaving belongings unattended on the beach
whilst swimming is an example of not taking due
care and therefore would not be covered. |
 |
Remember
- items stored in a safe deposit box or boot of
a car are only covered if you lock up with items
stored out of sight. Cover is at a significantly
reduced level if your vehicle is left unattended.
You would be surprised how many people forget! |
 |
This
insurance covers cancellation due to the illness
or death of an immediate relative. Close friends
or acquaintances do not fall into this category:
In the event of a serious injury, illness or hospitalisation,
Mondial Assistance must be contacted immediately.
|
 |
For
baggage claims, you will be required to supply us
with receipts and valuations. |
