Tours
Our
bespoke Tour Insurance product has been in operation
for over 15 years and is now not only used by many sports
clubs but also by a number of well respected Sports
Tour Operators.
This
product provides the benefits expected with all travel
insurance policies, however, we also include covers
imperative to sports teams whilst travelling abroad.
Covers such as Medical Expenses and Personal Accident
includes cover for claims arising from incidents whilst
playing, practising or training The Baggage and Personal
Effects section of the policy includes items such as
Playing Kit/Equipment and the Personal Liability cover
provides Member to Member Liability extension.

Many touring teams chose to take advantage of the activity
excursions offered by many of the Tour Operators, such
as White Water Rafting and Scuba Diving. These activities
are included within our standard policy (subject to
the policy terms and conditions).
Other
hazardous activities including the likes of Paragliding,
Parascending and Bungee Jumping can be covered subject
to an additional premium.

Medical
and Emergency Repatriation Services
Cover
is provided to meet reasonable medical expenses incurred
for the immediate needs of a medical emergency for individuals
sustaining bodily injury or suffering illness or death,
including whilst playing, practising or training in
the sport declared.
This
section also provides cover for the additional travelling
costs incurred in repatriating an insured person to
the country of departure.
Extension
to this section of the policy includes:

Emergency
Dental Treatment for the immediate relief of pain
(up to £1,000) |

Repatriation
in the event of the sudden and unforeseen death
of a close relative in the country of departure |
 |
Additional
travel and accommodation costs for one person to
stay with or escort home an insured person |
 |
Additional
costs incurred for Children to be accompanied by
a competent person in the event of the incapacity
or their Parent or Guardian |
 |
Burial/Funeral
Expenses (up to £1,000) |
 |
Daily
Hospital Benefit of £20 for each complete
24 hours period (maximum £800 in all). |

Personal
Accident
In
the event of accidental bodily injury during the trip,
including whilst playing, practising or training and
solely and directly caused by outward violent and visible
means, the following benefits are payable:

- £25,000 |

Loss
of Limb(s) &/or total Sight in one or both eyes
- £50,000 |
 |
Permanent
Total Disablement - £50,000. |
Baggage & Personal Effects
If
in the course of a trip the insured persons personal
baggage is damaged, stolen, destroyed or lost, the policy
shall provide cover up to a maximum of £1,500
per person.
This
section also includes:

Cover
for playing kit up to £500 |
 |
Emergency
purchases up to £150 in the event of delayed
baggage in excess of 12 hours. |
Money
In
the event of the Insured persons personal money being
lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed the policy will settle
up to £500 per person (£400 in respect of
Cash).
Cancellation
& Curtailment
If
the Insured person shall sustain financial loss during
the period of Insurance in respect of irrecoverable
deposits and payments for unused travel and accommodation
due to the insured persons inability to travel, or to
complete travel, due to causes beyond their control
and not foreseen by the insured person at the time of
booking.
This
section includes the choice to cancel a trip in the
event of outward delays in excess of 12 hours.
Travel Delay
In
the event of the Insured person's outward or inward
journey being delayed for more than 12 hours beyond
the intended departure time, a benefit of £40
shall be paid for each complete 12 hour period of delay.
Personal
Liability
This
Section of the policy covers the insured person should
they become legally liable for the accidental death
or accidental bodily injury to any person other than
a member of their family or the accidental loss or damage
to third party property including whilst playing, practising
or training, the policy shall indemnify the insured
up to a maximum sum of £1,000,000.
Including
the Member to Member liability on and off the field
of play.

Assistance Services
In
addition to the Insurance protections, our policy includes
