Our policy has been specially designed to provide protection for legal liability anywhere in the world for damages and legal costs in respect of employees who have suffered injury or disease arising from, and in the course of, their employment.
Summary of cover
Cover provides protection for legal liability for damages and legal costs arising anywhere in the world in respect of employees who have suffered injury or disease arising from, and in the course of, their employment - up to £10 million any one event. (Higher limits are available on request.)
Cover also includes:
- employees temporarily employed overseas
- indemnity for any director or employee if a claim is made against them personally
- indemnity to principal
- private work
- legal costs including those arising from criminal charges brought under the Health and Safety at Work Act (1974)
- court attendance costs in connection with a claim.
Cover can also be arranged to provide indemnity for employees working on offshore installations which is not covered under standard policy wordings.
