Tysers, UK Division is a wholly owned subsidiary of Tyser & Co Ltd who established in 1820, are one of the oldest and most respected firms of Lloyd's Brokers.

We are structured to provide the highest standards of professionalism, backed by a commitment to quality, integrity, impartiality and discretion. We are truly independent and unlike most of our competitors we are not involved in the current takeover and merger frenzy, and can therefore genuinely offer stable long term relationships with our clients.

Our principal office is in the City of London at the heart of the world's insurance market. We handle virtually all classes of both direct and reinsurance business from all parts of the world.

Passing through our various companies we have a premium income exceeding £650 million a year, which is placed into both the international and Lloyd's insurance markets. The Tyser Group employs approximately 220 staff, either directly or indirectly in our various subsidiary companies. We are fully represented throughout the world either through our long-standing relationships with other independent broking houses or our own offices. Through our network, we work with selected brokers who understand the way in which we work and share our beliefs in providing personalised quality service. Through the diversity of the Tyser Group we are able to offer our clients comprehensive advice and service in all areas of insurance and risk management.

Tysers is a member of Unitas National Alliance of Independent Brokers, which is a national network of 11 well established independent brokers, who collectively rank in the top four insurance buyers in the UK. Unitas membership enhances our market presence and buying power and further provides the ability to share and develop resources while remaining committed to delivering the highest quality personalised service.

Our client base includes a cross section of different businesses ranging from large PLC companies to smaller privately owned companies. These are spread throughout the UK and for the majority of our clients we have been their advisers for many years, due mainly to the consistent quality of service, which is the cornerstone of our business.
